When the band Ginger Jake broke up a couple years ago, no one could have predicted where the members would splinter off to. The core of that band, The Rotter brothers (Joe & Eric) decided to forge off into a new direction musically. Retooling their trademark heavy metal sound into a fresher, more mature type of music that is the band Gilmore. Gilmore is an eclectic blend of styles fronted by a soulful lead singer & songwriter John Gilmore. I had the chance to get out with them to the local watering hole for an impromptu session. Not bad for a AA powered light...........
