It's time for the Minnesota state fair and I couldn't be more excited. This week I turn 33, and will be doing all sorts of stuff to celebrate. First on saturday we went down to the fair and ate till we were sick, something about food on a stick that makes you forget how much you've eaten. My son loved all the activity and especially the fish pond. He and mom made "fishy lips" and laughed at all the different shaped creatures. Then we moved on to the DNR building and saw the fish up close and learned about the different species. It's a little sad to admit that I've lived in Minnesota most of my life (save for my army adventures) but I haven't been fishing in years. Maybe when we go camping next week I'll have to do something about that. Speaking of this week, I will be taking my 2 1/2 year old son camping for the first time friday. We have been getting him ready by going for long walks in the park and practicing throwing rocks in the river. Now I have to learn some ghost stories and we'll be set. 

Our studio will be gearing up in september for the Reno Air Races and maybe some other cool adventures. Today I am shooting at a car wash for a manufacturing corporation. It's a really tight and dirty space with many hurdles to overcome. Should be fun.
