Here it is the end of the summer and I am getting my studio painted and set up for a season of studio shooting as well as my opening party. My good friend and ocassional partner in crime Ian Severson came down to help with the painting and heavy lifting. We choose to black out our shooting bays back wall in order to build up light from scratch rather than deal with the ambient that comes from our rather large northern window.Don't get me wrong, I love the natural light of the studio however now we can shape it with much better effect. We also painted our brick wall lipstick red, added a seamless roller dispenser on the black wall and lighting booms attached to the ceiling to clean up the floor. Check out Ians band Ginger Jake on myspace and keep "rawking the free warld".
